Bungsar Rubber Estate
Located on Federal Hill, which was originally a rubber plantation area, it has deep-rooted ties with both rubber and oil palm cultivation. The Socfin Group has been active in the development and management of oil palm and rubber plantations since 1904 and has experienced rapid growth in Malaysia. Over time, it has evolved into an upscale residential and commercial area, becoming a fashionable suburb of Kuala Lumpur.

The White HouseThe estate, referred to as "The White House" during its era, was constructed in 1950. Situated amidst lush tropical plantations on top of Federal Hills, it enjoys a central location.

Socfin Group Acquired The Estate
Due to unknown reasons, "The White Palace" was sold, and The Socfin Group acquired the land for "The Estate."

Residence of General Manager
Since its construction, it has always been the residence of the General Manager. It has housed numerous generations of General Managers of the Socfin Group, bearing witness to a portion of Socfin's history. Therefore, it holds great significance for Socfin.

MERDEKA

Handover of The Estate to Malaysian GovernmentAccording to incomplete records, the estate was under the provision of the Malaysian government. The estate has been used as a venue for hosting distinguished guests and dignitaries.

Under government usage, the estate has become a contemporary residence for numerous high-ranking government officials, elevating it to a prestigious venue for hosting exclusive events that provide access only to privileged guests. During this period of rapid growth in Kuala Lumpur, Federal Hill has remained distinct due to its historical significance and panoramic city views, adorned with colonial-era buildings like the estate. Consequently, it has not been absorbed into the cityscape.

The Estate Has Officially Become Event SpaceFollowing its management transfer to an events company, the estate has been transformed into an event venue. Its prime location, nestled amidst lush greenery in the city center with breathtaking cityscape views, has made it a sought-after destination for brand product launches, corporate events, weddings, and more.
